About Wool & Yarn Ltd

The yarns in our e-shop have been made in a small woolen mill in Jõgeva Estonia. One of the buildings carries the date 16 of April 1914, when Jõgeva a mill for  processing wool, sawing and grinding flour was built  here. The mill has carried on making woolen yarn over a century in Jõgeva.

Current production process in Jõgeva Yarn Mill is based on old traditions with slight modernisations. All stages of production including from washing and dyeing to packaging. For instance our wool and yarns are subjected to gentle washing using water and soft soap. We us only environment-friendly dyes and natural raw materials.

As a result all products of Jõgeva Woolen Mill contain natural lanolin and have characteristic smell of wool. The products knitted or woven from our yarns can be easily felted.

Production involves lts of handwork. Jõgeva Woolen Mill offer a wide assortment of different products and a rich and interesting spectrum of colors. Our staff takes great care to make our products answer the expectations of our customers. We trust the care and positive energy put in our products reaches our customers.
